Custom made oil plein air pochade.

 A pochade dedicated to oil painting, I've ordered custom-made to support canvas or other support up to 30x40 (or about 38x28 in the interior.

 All tied up with neodymium magnets, with retractable blades pieces glued on to the wood.

 A small coin of neodymium magnet holds two nails...

 That can be placed on the sides so I can hold a bigger canvas if I want to (or a 30x40/slightly larger)  I have not yet tried support larger than 30x40 but I suppose it might be too heavy for this pochade, so I'd likely have to find another solution anyway.

Small piece of wood with holes for the brushes, with two larger pieces of snap off blade...

 ...so I can use mediums and solvents (and blends of both) all held safely with magnets on the bottom glued with epoxy.

The bottom uses a piece of wood with a nut claw 1/20. I've used Titebond III for this wood-wood binding, and super bonder-like glue for all metal-wood binding.
